IN CINCINNATI, SEPTEMBER BRINGS COOLER weather and the heavy aroma of beer and sausages. On September 16 and 17, the Queen City celebrates its rich German history with Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati, the largest such annual event in the U.S., complete with the requisite Beer Barrel Roll and, of course, plenty of brew. It’s just one of many interesting facets of the city that elected Jerry Springer mayor and inspired Dr. Henry Heimlich to save people from choking.
