Terminal C-You-There

With the opening of the Heineken Lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport last December, Terminal C has been transformed into Terminal Cool. The first Heineken bar in the United States, this swanky new space, with its white leather sofas, private nooks, dim lighting, and flat-screen TVs, has become the hippest place to grab a beer before your flight. There's substance behind all this style too, with a full bar - starring, of course, Amsterdam's best-known export — and a food menu that's more than capable of satisfying your gastronomical needs. Try the Amsterdam Chili if you want to go 100 percent Dutch. Factor in the modern design, Heineken-themed green and black décor, and sweet views of the action on the tarmac, and it's easy to see why those little green fellas are always part of the in crowd.

These days, we all could use a little treat. Sure to please your sentimental sweet tooth is Theatre Under the Stars' (TUTS') production of Happy Days. This musical theater adaptation of the much-loved television sitcom presents the Fonz, the Cunninghams, and the rest of the gang as they struggle to save Arnold's Malt Shop from demolition. Of course, there is plenty of singing, dancing, and Hula-Hooping along the way, and even a little romance. Like a good old-fashioned sundae, Happy Days is sure to delight. And the cherry on top is the fiber-optic ceiling of Sarofim Hall, where TUTS performs; even indoors you'll be under the stars. The show runs May 12-24. tuts.com

Tuxedo or T-shirt?

Known as the "educational fashion week," Fashion Week Cleveland (fashionweekcleveland.com) includes more than just runway shows. From May 1-9, exhibits, films, industry tours, seminars, and workshops will highlight the cultural significance of the fashion industry. Join NASA on May 3 for a look at the evolution of spacesuit styles, and cap the week off on May 9 with the Cleveland Fashion Show, featuring the latest collections from American designers.
